The Canadian Hockey League distributes thousands of passes every season to members of the media, scouts, sponsors and other league officials and they require a pass holder to use when they mail them out.
The CHL pass holder also doubles as an information piece on the CHL national events as well as the league’s tremendous success at the NHL Entry Draft.
This year’s edition featured a cover shot of John Tavares, the first overall pick of the New York Islanders in the 2009 Entry Draft. The shot of Tavares was from the CHL’s Top Prospects Game and was shot by Active Images.

We are working with the Belleville Bulls on their print and electronic collateral material for the 2009-2010 hockey season and our first design project was their season ticket booklet.
The Bulls were looking for a design that included elements that could be used in all of their advertising and promotional material throughout the season and we started that process with the new design for this ticket book.
We used new design elements along with photography from Active Images to give the ticket book a new and modern look that fits with the new branding campaign underway with the Bulls.

The Canadian Hockey League required an advertisement to promote the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup in a special junior hockey feature in The Hockey News in May, 2009.
They were looking for a design that would capture the heritage of the tournament as well as highlight the Rimouski Oceanic as the host team of the tournament. We used an image of Sidney Crosby from when he helped the Oceanic advance to the finals of the Memorial Cup in London in 2005.

The InterCounty Baseball League is a semi-professional league made up of nine teams in Southern Ontario. Three years ago they decided to bring back their annual media information guide and asked Clear Media & Publishing to take over the project. We created some baseball themed artwork to go along with action photos supplied via Active Images and came up with a clean, timeless look to compliment their historical-themed marketing.
We were also reponsible for putting the historical information into the guide in an easy-to-follow format that would maximize the space available on each page. This is the updated version for the 2009 baseball season.

A photographic and written recap of the 2008 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Kitchener, Ontario. The Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League won the Memorial Cup defeating the host Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League in the championship game. The Belleville Bulls of the OHL and the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League also played in the event.
